Milligans Cove Historical Society

Come and enjoy a evening a history with speaker Ron Morgan, who writes the weekly historical articles,”Raystown Journal” in the “Shoppers Guide,”
who will be speaking with video presentation on dealing with the Broad Top Coal Field, including reflections on the early railroads of Bedford County (H&T, EBT, B&B and the PRR). He will also make some observations about the iron era and the pioneer days of the Juniata Valley.
Times : 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. – set up of table & photos displays
4:00 – 5:00 p.m. – set up potluck buffet, view displays & visit
5:00 – 6:00 p.m. – Potluck buffet (no free just bring a dish)
(Starts promptly at 5 pm please try to bring in food by 4:30)
6:00 – 8:00 p.m. – shot meeting and program
Displays: You are invited to bring in any historical or antique display/show & tell that you would like — old book, old photos, scrapbooks, newspaper clippings –old tools and household objects, ets.
Recipe: If you can please try a historical recipe or an old family dish. Please bring along a copy of the recipe to place by the dish. We can make copies there.
