Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.  Hebrews 11:1 Faith is, by nature, purposeful and persistent, hopeful and prayerful.

the world and its desire are passing away, but those who do the will of God live forever.  1John 2:17 Simplify your life, don't let life fritter away by details.

So I say to you, Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you.  For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.  Luke 11: 9-10  

Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.  1 Timothy 1:15 lord, help me to realize that even minor sin harms our relationship with you and with others.

With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.  Isaiah 12:3 Strengthen me with your joy today, Father I need it to lift up my soul.  Joy is like a vast water system that flows directly from the Lord, an unfailing source.

As for me and my household we will serve the Lord.  Joshua 24:15 Lord, thank you for the homes we are privileged to enjoy and families that you have given us, spouses, parents, children and grandchildren.
