The picnic will be held at Friendship Village in Bedford. Service at 10 a.m. Lunch following the service.  Bring two covered dish/place setting. Hot dogs and Hamburgers will be provided.  Baptism at 1:00 p.m.

"If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."  John 14:14 Lord, thank you for the availability of your Spirit to sustain your children.

"The Lord will bless his people with peace." Psalm 29:11 Lord, help me to follow your will with eagerness, knowing that to do so is the surest path to peace.

"Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." Matthew 5:8 O God of Love, let me serve your spirit.  

"But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord." Numbers 14:21 Thank you, Father, for the many reminders around us of your greatness and goodness.  Accept the praise of our hearts.

"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."  Matthew 24:35 Help me, Lord, to remember that by thy word the heavens and earth were formed and one day will awake in thy likeness.

"Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy."  Matthew 5:7 Father, help me be as gentle and kind to others as you have been with me.

"They that sow in tears shall reap in joy." Psalm 126:5 Father, may the seeds of suffering or sorrow flower into joy in my life.  

"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not." Jeremiah 33:3 God, help us to live one day at a time and enjoy each gift that you have given us.  Help us to rejoice in each new day.

"if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed."  John 8:31 Lord, may our love for you increase. May our desire for your Word grow into delight.

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." Matthew 7:7 Lord, replace my insecurities and doubts with ever increasing faith in your promises.

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27 Lord, let me find the peace of mind promised in your Word.

"A faithful man shall abound with blessings" Proverbs 28:20 Lord, help me to remember that there are many ways to rejoice in any kind of day you make for us.

"Stand ye in the ways, and see... where is the good way... and walk therein and ye shall find rest for your souls."  Jeremiah 6:16 Thank you, O God, for caring about the things of this world that need repair, like my life.    

"Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." Psalm 37:4 Father, Author, and Giver of life, to believe in you is to accept life with all its potential and hope and happiness.
