"He that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Hebrews 11:6 Dear Lord, I bow before you in stillness and feel you very near. Here are my problems.  Help me to find your way for me.

"The world passeth away ... but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." 1John 2:17 Lord Jesus, help me to see the evidence of your presence and to realize anew your promise to be with those who keep your commandments.

"I am the light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." John 8:12 Father, what you have to say to us is vital.  Help us to listen; help us to hear.

"He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him."  Psalm 126:6 Lord, help me not to give up too quickly when sharing your good news with others who do not know you.

"Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted."  Matthew 5:4 Thank you, God, for the many times you have come to our rescue. Help us to trust you when dark times come.

"The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore."  Psalm 121:8 Dear Lord, I pray that you will keep me alert to Satan's clever attacks and help me to depend on you to conquer him.

"This is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life." 1John 2:25 Dear Father, teach me to give priority to the eternal values which make life worth living.
