Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.  Matthew 5:9 Father, you are the greatest of all peacemakers.  You made reconciliation with humanity possible by means of great personal sacrifice. I ask you to grant me courage, grace and wisdom to work toward real peace, which values all people.

May those who sow in tears reap with shouts of joy.  Psalm 126:5   Lord, some days it seems that every hour is spent in toil. Thank you, Lord, for understanding both our need to work hard and our need to enjoy this beautiful life. Only you God can replace grief with pure joy.

Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.  I Peter 5:7   Lord, we know if we take our big bundles of fear and frets and hand them over to you . It will all work out for the best in your timetable.

Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer. Romans 12:12 Lord, I ask for you to comfort me and fill me with the hope that only you can give.  Give me strength  to keep going even when it is hard.

Watch over them and guide their parents. Grant all parents the courage, strength, and wisdom they need to fulfill your word and their sacred duties.
